Shanghai discharges thousands of COVID patients

Chinese state broadcaster CCTV on Tuesday (April 12) aired footage of people being released from various designated makeshift COVID-19 hospitals in Shanghai, as the city reported 22,348 new asymptomatic coronavirus cases and 994 symptomatic cases for April 11.
