Sims 1: Move In Interaction

The Sims was big on marriage equality before it was even mainstream. While same-sex couples cannot "marry" in The Sims 1, they can move in with their significant other. The relationship and motive requirements mirror that of a marriage proposal. When the relationship is strong enough (or if you feel the time is right), click on the Sim in question and click "Proposition... Move In" (or just "Move In" in the base game). If rejected, the Sim will give their reasons for not moving in. If the Sim moving in to the household is single, all of their money and children will move in with them. In later Sims titles, such as Sims 2, 3 & 4, same-sex couples can get married.
