How the US and NATO started the war in Ukraine

The US and NATO started the war in Ukraine, by sponsoring a violent coup in 2014, in which neo-Nazi and far-right groups played a key role. This set off a brutal civil war that killed 14,000 Ukrainians and destabilized the country. Russia then escalated this already existing war by invading on February 24.
