Where was Yeshua today in His dispensation of time? What was He doing?
He was 3 days away from the 10th of Aviv, which in His year, was on a Sabbath, and the day of the Triumphal Entry. It was also the day that according to Temple ceremony, the special lamb that was to redeem the whole of Israel was picked out of the sheepfolds of Bethlehem. We are taught in our Protestant churches that this happened on a Sunday. It didn't in His year. It was on a Sabbath, a Saturday.
In our dispensation of time, today, the Triumphal Enty,10th of Aviv, is going to be this Wednesday. On this day, we will commemorate the day that the lambs were picked out of the sheepfolds of Bethlehem and also that it is a shadow picture of our Yeshua, The Passover Lamb, riding on the donkey up toward the Temple mount.
We also continue the reading of Exodus 12.
