Kyrsten Garcia: Parents sow discord

CCISD Board of Trustees candidate Kyrsten Garcia has some harsh words for parents:
"We also have a vocal of (sic) small group of parents sowing discord and lies at every board meeting apparently to politicize the education at CCISD instead of improving it. ... Next semester, I'll be teaching a unit on media literacy and satire, and I wonder if the parents need it more."
Spoiler alert: Kyrsten Garcia quit her job as an English teacher mid-year to run for the board, creating instability for her former students who already struggle to make connections.
Does Kyrsten want to keep parents out of board meetings? Likely.
