Ebony was the top artist of 2017, recording multiple singles. Before her death, Ebony was projected to be Ghana's next major performer, rubbing elbows with industry heavyweights like Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.

According to reports, the actor was traveling alone in his Toyota Camry when his car ran into a cargo truck ahead of him on the Accra-Tema Motorway Thursday night.
Before he was taken to the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, he was first sent to the Tema General Hospital.
