Nazis and Communists - Never-ending Horror for Ukrainians

Ukrainians have been fighting against communism since the 1917 communist Bolshevik Revolution that led to the USSR. For 105 years, Ukrainians have repeatedly tried to repel the communists, but all too often, were thrown under the bus by the West who claim to support democracy.

WW II was a particularly horrific period for the people of Ukraine, used by both the Communists and Nazis as fodder while Stalin and Hitler battled each other.

Ukrainians have a very long memory, and though Putin would have you believe Ukraine is a nation of Nazis, nothing could be further from the truth. Are there Nazis in Ukraine? Yes, there is a fringe group, just as there are fringe groups in many countries around the world, including the U.S., England, France, Germany, etc. Does that make those countries Nazi countries?

In 2019, in stage 1 of the Ukrainian presidential elections, there were 5 candidates. Two were Nazis. They got less than 2% of Ukrainian votes. There is not a single member of Ukraine's parliament that represents the Nazis.

In stage 2 of the presidential election process, there were 2 candidates: Poroshenko, the incumbent president put into office by Obama, Biden and the Democrats, and Zelenskyy, a former comedienne / actor. Like Trump, he was beyond frustrated with the never-ending corruption in Ukraine - first by communist Russia, then by corrupt Democrats.

Neither Putin nor the Democrats could control Zelenskyy, who was actively working to fulfill the wishes of the Ukrainian people: the freedoms to make their own choices and economic opportunities enjoyed by Europeans and Americans. Biden and Putin couldn't permit that, so they came up with a plan to remove him before Biden took office.

Biden pretends to support Ukraine while funding Putin's invasion and dragging his feet at supplying weapons to Ukraine. Putin accuses Zelenskyy of being gay and a Nazi. The moment people hear either one, they bury their heads, afraid of being called either one.
