Protests against the French elections continued throughout the night

French protests against Macron and LePen by mainly left-wing affiliated groups reported after the election results were published. With 88% of the votes counted, the current president, Emmanuel Macron, has 27.41% of the votes and Marine Le Pen 24.9%.
