ABC News sells you the plane crash fable

Here is Charles Gibson that morning when the computer graphics plane was shown passing behind the building suggesting a plane crash. Note the observer did not see or hear a plane, he just saw the explosion. Note also that Gibson does not see the plane come in either or he would have been alerted to its approach by his control room and would have reacted. Instead, he says nothing until the building exploded. The plane was inserted. The hoaxsters were ready to insert the plane at the proper moment.
