We live in a world where it is so easy to take the difficult things that happen in our lives and make everything about us. to let personal pain bear the fruit of bitterness and vengeance or self-pity but when Jesus was dying on the cross we see non of these things. in fact, the gospels record some of the most selfless words that Jesus ever spoke giving us a glimpse of the heart of God
