Pastor Mike [CB handle 'Preacher Dude'] focuses on Luke 4:18 and Jesus' willing sacrifice this Holy Week. Our Savior was wounded for OUR transgressions. He could have "backed out", and the Father would have dispatched legions of angels to abort the "mission", but Jesus saw it through with love. He completed his part, and gave us the Great Commission [Matthew 28:16-20] to carry forward.

But are we grateful? Too often we are distracted, "busy" and/or thinking of our own issues, forget the mission - and don't put God first every day. We are to always remember what this week means, and be faithful, loving servants in response.

It's all about loving, pleasing, and reconciling with our Heavenly Father.
