A large portion of that came around the time they say, that the Penn Biden Center was opening up here in DC. The NLPC noted that all gifts over $250,000 must disclose foreign ownership, and if it was earmarked to promote Chinese interests, then the donation would trigger a registration as a foreign agent.

The federal investigation to Hunter Biden's foreign dealings has gained speed in recent weeks. Prosecutors have been seeking grand jury testimony, according to what a source told the New York Post.
