All-white kitchens look modern and clean. If that was what you thought while decorating years ago, you might be a little frustrated now that some of your white appliances are a little yellowish, right?

The color change isn't indicative of improper use of your appliances but, actually, a natural component of their linings, which change colors due to the effects of dirt and weather. Did you know that?

But there is a homemade and cheap trick to get rid of the yellow color of your kitchen appliances, making them look sparkling new in only 24 hours.

You will need 1 spoon of water to 4 spoons of baking soda. If your appliance is big and needs more of the mixture to clean keep the 1:4 proportion, 1 water to 4 baking soda.

Another trick is to use hydrogen peroxide. In this case, you will need 1 container, 1 brush or toothbrush with soft bristles, 40 volume hydrogen peroxide (you can find it at drugstores), and plastic wrap.

Both tricks can be used in many kitchen appliances, but it is not recommended if they are colorful since they can stain and peel their paint.
