Elephants in Tarangire Tanzania chase lions from zebra kill As we watched a family of lions devour

As we watched a family of lions devour their zebra kill on the banks of a river in the Tarangire Game Preserve in Tanzania, a family of elephants came around the bend. Upon spotting the lions, one of the Mom elephants charges the lions, protecting her babies, but it takes a bull elephant trumpeting and charging to finally scatter the lions, who were protecting THEIR babies, and allowing the elephant family to pass. The lions return to their meal and all returned to normal - for Africa at least.
