Taking you on a journey around Chicago to some unique locations with historical connections to some of my creative heroes. First stop is to Walt Disney's birthplace, the house Walt Disney was born in and lived in until he was 4 years old. The home was built by Disney's father Elias In 1893, Walt's older brother Roy was also born in this home.

Walt Disney's birthplace is under renovation in hopes to someday open as a historical museum, you can donate to the cause at the following website: http://www.thewaltdisneybirthplace.org.

Next stop on this video is to a newly created accolade for American author L. Frank Baum, who wrote the popular novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. A beautiful mosaic and full-on yellow brick road has been dedicated outside the property where L. Frank Baum lived at and wrote The Wizard of Oz back in 1900 (Not in Kansas).

Last highlight, I grab a drink and show at the famous Green Mill Cocktail Lounge, one of the oldest operating bars in Chicago, a famous place for live jazz music, stiff drinks, and a plethora of Prohibition era mob history - Al Capone used to frequent this joint and one of his top hit men Machine Gun Jack McGurn was part owner of this nightclub back in the 1920's.

Opening song: Tribute to Steamboat Willie - composed & performed by me on keyboard.
Closing song - Disney Goes to Oz - composed & performed by me on piano.
