US Navy Wants to Decommission 24 Ships Costing Billions to Save Millions While Ignoring Geopolitics

With the current state of geopolitics, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and China becoming an ever increasing threat to the United States, the Navy wants to decommission 24 ships that taxpayers have spent billions of Dollars on in order to save millions that can’t be sunk into new projects. On top of this, nine of them are Freedom Class littoral combat ships which are some of the newest ones we have in the fleet too.
