Will Smith Banned From Oscars For 10 Years

Will Smith will be required to take a decade-long break from the Oscars after slapping presenter Chris Rock at this year's ceremony. The Academy announced on Friday that the "King Richard" star has been banned from any of their events – in person or virtual – for the next 10 years, starting that day. In a statement to Access Hollywood, the actor said, "I accept and respect the Academy's decision."
