Cooking turmeric destroys its health benefits, or is that a myth? Do you belive in this?

That's what we are going to find out in today's video!

Turmeric is an incredible natural remedy for inflammation and other things.

But some people say that you shouldn't cook turmeric because the heat destroys its phytonutrients.

This myth originated because many people believed heat would destroy all turmeric compounds.

After a few studies, however, scientists noticed that in some herb-based remedies, the heat seemed to highlight certain phytonutrients. Isn't it curious?

Besides, as we have seen before on the channel, some studies point to the combination of turmeric with piperine – the main active component of black pepper, which increases curcumin absorption by 2,000%.

When consumed correctly, turmeric is generally well-accepted by most people, with very few cases of harmful side effects.

If that wasn't enough, with just a few tricks, turmeric makes dishes more appealing and healthier.
