Dr. Joe Dispenza Bicycle Accident

In 1986, Joe was in a triathlon in Palm Springs, California, and was on his bicycle. He tried to pass some cyclists and as he made the turn to pass the cyclists, he got run over by a truck. Joe broke six vertebrae in his spine, and had bone fragments on his spinal cord.

Four experts, told Joe that he would never walk again and would be paralyzed. For some people to wake up they need a wake-up call, and that was his call.

Joe decided against the surgery, a radical surgery, where they take out the entire back part of his spine and screw in rots.He decided against the surgery in 1986, and thought: "I'm not going anywhere. I'm not doing anything. Let's see if I can heal this with my mind." Nobody had any idea that it was even possible.

The doctors thought Joe hit his head on the ground, and that he had a head injury, because nobody said no to them. When you're trying to create something like a miracle, you will always be considered a fool, or insane, because nobody else is doing what you're doing. It's unconventional. It's outside the beliefs of a culture. But if you pull it off, you'll be considered a Saint, a holy man, a genius, a mystic.

Joe was willing to lose everything for a thought or an experience. And he went through a very dark night of the soul because he wanted to heal himself, and was impatient. Joe was angry, frustrated, and unfocused.

Every day, Joe had this thought in his head, " the power that made the body heals the body."Joe connected to his power, intelligence, and began to give it a plan, a template, a design. For six weeks, he went through hell because he would start reconstructing his spine, and would lose his attention. But he never gave up.

And at the end of six weeks, Joe was able to go through his entire internal process without losing focus. His body started to change very quickly. Joe's pain went away. His numbness changed. Joe started to get happy, and all of a sudden started to notice that he was feeling better.

In 10 weeks, Joe was back on his feet, and at 12 weeks, he was training again. Joe went back to school and got another degree. Then he started teaching people how to heal with the mind.
