Ah, the weekend... It's gonna be nice and sunny here so we're off to check out the really white sand on the beaches of the Gulf while the Mayor stays behind in his hideaway studio working on segues. Today he's mixing Johnny Rivers with the Isley Brothers to make the Saturday Segue City Special. The mystery continues as to what is going on with him but he's more difficult to figure out than the instruction sheets on how to assemble furniture...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
