Russian Ambassador Calls Out Glaring Omissions in UN Resolution
Russia's Ambassador condemns Ukraine's actions such as using human shields and placing weapons among civilians and he lists critical issues which a UN resolution has omitted.
“The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on Wednesday deploring ‘in the strongest terms the aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine’ in violation of the UN Charter and demanding that Russia ‘immediately cease its use of force’ against eastern European country.
At the emergency session of the General Assembly today (02 Mar), 141 member states voted in favour of the resolution, which required a two-thirds majority to pass, while five voted against and 35 abstained.
The resolution demanded that Russia immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw all of its military forces from the territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders. It also deplored its decision to related to the status of certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine and demanded that Russia reverse the decision.”

Russian Defense ministry claimed that Ukrainian authorities have forcibly kept a large number of Indian students in kharkiv. It claimed that Indian students were taken hostage by Ukrainian forces, who use them as a human shield. The Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian armed forces are ready to take all necessary measures for the safe evacuation of the Indian citizens.

As US media celebrated average Ukrainian citizens taking up arms against Russian troops, the ultra-nationalist Azov Battalion's National Corps published a propaganda video of its fighters training and passing out arms to residents of Kharkiv, transforming them into combatants.
