Cal Fire looks to increase firefighter hiring after spring heatwave

The spring heat we've been feeling around California is prompting the state to hire more firefighters as soon as possible. It's all due to an increased fire danger with Cal Fire saying they're now seeing conditions now in early April that they normally wouldn't see until mid to late June.
