IPCC AR6 WG1 Report concludes 21st Century is only 1°C warmer than coldest point of the past 10k yrs

With much fanfare the latest IPCC report Climate Change 2021 the physical science basis was published on 9 August 2021. The COP 26 President Mr. Alok Sharma stated that the “UK calls for greater global ambition as UN finds world warming faster than previously estimated.”
This alarming claim prompts the questions What was the start point from when the rate was measured? Was it a cold time or a warm time? Was it a normal time or an Abnormal time?
The answers to these questions undermine every claim contained in the Summary for Policy Makers report and in the Paris Agreement.
