Change the Sticks

I have been a leader for a long time, and I always find it funny when you hear the leadership team say ... "you can never get employees to change".
I agree.
It is true, You can't do it. You can't just give a rousing motivational speech or expect a mission statement posted on the wall in a frame to actually work, or give little pep talks and "get" employees to change.
Companies spend vast dollar amounts on training that fails to yield results.
The failure comes from not understanding that you must be able to incorporate “change” into day-to-day behavior otherwise the “change” does not have the opportunity to stick….to become a habit and most importantly for people and/or businesses to be able to see the reward for the change in behavior.
When people come into work, they want to see the change you are talking about as REAL. They want to feel the change, in actions through behavior.

Training that teaches not only a new skill but how to incorporate the skill into the day-to-day workplace so the people and the company can see results, this is what cements change.
Join me this week as I share how to recognize training that cements lasting and rewarding change.
