Mass Shooting In Plymouth | Update From The Scene

Up to six people have been shot dead in Plymouth as police declared a critical incident. Armed officers descended on the scene shortly after 6pm, with chiefs confirming there had been a "number of fatalities". The incident is not terror-related, MP Johnny Mercer said, adding that there is not a suspect at large. Three air ambulances landed in a nearby park, Plymouth Live reports. The number killed and injured in the shocking incident is not yet known, but reports suggest that five or six people may have died. Devon and Cornwall Police said in a statement: “Police were called to a serious firearms incident in Biddick Drive, in the Keyham area of Plymouth at around 6.10pm today [Thursday 12 August].
