Redmond Firefighters Call on the City Council to rescind the Mayor's Emergency Order

Several Redmond City Firefighters bring public comment to the City Council on April 5th, 2022. Near the end (25:06) of the meeting Councilmember Fields introduces a resolution to rescind the Mayor's Emergency Order instituted on September 30th, 2021. Towards the end of the video (48:38) we learn that the board believes they do not have the authority to keep the Mayor in check when it comes to personnel matters in the city.
