YOM TERUAH (FEAST OF TRUMPETS) BASICS

After the Yom Teruah Banquet last week, Rebekah got up early the next morning and went back to the banquet hall to record her and Isaac's thoughts on this Mo'edim. This is her first-ever 1-hour "teaching" video. Over the course of the next year Teshuvah Ministries will be producing a "teaching video" on each Mo'edim in a new series called: Mo'edim Basics. This is the first one.

She points out the following things:

• At the heart of Yom Teruah is the arrival of The Melchizedek Administration (Matthew Nolan's phrase) at the Last Trumpet (7th).

• It is very Important to find this Mo'edim correctly for it happens on the 7th New Moon. So you must be on the right calendar to find it. She shows you how Ps 81 clears up when we are to celebrate Trumpets (at the sliver) and Sukkot (at the full moon).

• She points out that Yom Teruah is about hope (personal and global)

• A better practice for Yahshua's priests at Yom Teruah is the practice of Raphah, not Tashlich.

• She touches on the Hebrew words, da'at (head knowledge) and ye'da (heart knowledge) and looks at their relationship to repentance.

• She reminds us that the point is getting to the Happily-Ever-After.

• She also restates her 7 thoughts in honor of the 7 Trumpets that she presented at the banquet the night before:

1. Biblical Repentance: repentance is living the Mo'edim rhythm (all year long). This is where the rubber-of-repentance hits the road.

2. You are a hammered silver trumpet. Therefore your frequency is crucial (Jim Staley's teaching). You need to be making a clear sound. Knotholes are the hammering of our silver trumpets: Defining, clarifying, sharpening our voice to be YHVH's WORDS.
 
3. Holiday Attachments: your heart will only trade up.

4. It is not an imminent return. 

5. What did Yahshua preach at Yom Teruah when he was here? He preached Resurrection, Life and Belief (she explores "belief in what?")

6. The Fall Feasts are unfulfilled 

7. Talk is cheap! We must Learn.Live.Tell. And not get that our of order or we will cause chaos among the people.
