Part of the prayer Yahshua taught us to pray is action: We must “sanctify” his name in action and deed. This part of the prayer is a call to action.

3 ways to sanctify the name:

1) Proclaim it to the world. A title “God, Adoni, Hashem, Lord” is not his name. They are titles.
2) Set it apart and exault it above everything else. Psalms is a whole book about exaulting the name!
3) Through the deeds we perform we glorify the name. Through obedience to his will we sanctify his name and through disobediance we desecrate his name. Lev. 22:31-32; Ez. 20:39; Matt. 5:16

The Feasts are YHVH’s study guide for us. If you don’t know what to study next -- you are supposed to study the upcoming Feast.

Greeks tried to destroy Israel by assimilation (1 Maccabees 1:44) Nehemiah’s Wall (Open Door Series, Part 13)
Greeks made decress to irradicate Israel in 3 ways:

1) Deny the Kingdom of Heaven
2) To declare that they have no portion with the God of Israel
3) Not to mention the heavenly NAME on their lips

Part of destroying Israel was to tell Isreal they couldn’t say the name of their Elohim anymore.

Part of repenting includes saying the Name!
Ex.20 Num 6:22-27 -- YHVH wants the priests to put his name on the people so he could bless them. 2 Chron 7:14 -- People who are called (Qara - verb) by my name. My people who actually PROCLAIM / SUMMON / INVITE / CRY OUT FOR / CALL ON my name are the ones who get him to show up for them!

1 Kings 8:33 -- If Israel is far away and they turn and confess YHVH’s name... he will forgive and bless them!

How to win against the Greeks during Chanukah:
Arm yourself with head knowledge that turns into heart knowledge (Hosea 4:6; James 2:14-26)

1) Repent
2) Turn
3) Confess the Name
4) Pray

Psalms 44:20-21 - IF (most assuradly / when you do) we forget the Name ... mercy!

Part of celebrating Chanukah is saying the name!!!
Restore the true Chanukah -- proclaim the name to fight against the greeks all around us

“Chanukah” is the Hebrew word for “dedication” 2 definitions of the word “dedicated”
1) Action of dedicating a place (building or heart)
2) Quality of being dedicated to a task or a purpose (zeal/ devotions/ commitment....)

Dedicated our hearts back to their original purpose
Dedicated to YHVH no matter what! I’m dedicated to the end!
