A 16-year-old dog has much improvement in Cushing Syndrome after Vetoryl Capsule treatment

16-year-old Shih Tzu had Cushing Syndrome and was stabilised by Vetoryl 30 mg per day daily.
Vetoryl Capsules are indicated for the treatment of pituitary-dependent hyperadrenocorticism in dogs.
Vetoryl is indicated for the treatment of hyperadrenocorticism due to adrenocortical tumor in dogs.
For around 2 years of treatment with Vetoryl Capsules resulted in an improvement in clinical signs (decreased thirst, decreased frequency of urination, decreased panting, and improvement of appetite and activity). The owner was satisfied with the improvement in hair loss as well. Recently there was no appetite
He reduced Vetoryl Capsule treatment by once-a-day to once in 2 days and had stopped the treatment when he was overseas.
He is advised to return to the daily dosage and to observe the signs.
