- It’s finally time! After months of dreading when you might start running, cycling or swimming again, there came that time when you said enough to the procrastination. It’s time to get running again!

- You don’t have to run every day like me. The goal is to be physically active as much as you can. A 20-minute run every day should drop your waistline about an inch or two a month. Some people have better metabolisms. It’s all based on your age and current weight. Three days a week can be pretty good for your weight-loss goals. Just because I’ve never had weight to lose doesn’t mean I’m clueless. I’m skinny because I’ve always been physically active and my goal is to get you there too!

- The first step with anything is to initially believe in yourself. This includes not stopping when you’re short of breath after that first mile. Start slow, go short, and be realistic. You’ll get there one day if you’re patient. Don’t let the sweat or the side stitches deter you. You’re making a concerted decision to get your ass off the coach and on the road, path or trail. First get started, then don’t give up on yourself. You GOT this! And I’m here to help you stay on track.
