Dr. William Lee Cowden received his MD at the University of Texas Medical School at
Houston. He is currently Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board and Professor of the
Academy of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine. He has been a USA board-certified
cardiologist and internist and a licensed homeopathic medical doctor, who is now retired from
patient care and teaching full-time. He is internationally known for his knowledge and skill in
practicing and teaching integrative medicine. Dr. Cowden has co-authored seven books and has
contributed to several other books and publications.
