This was on Thursday March 10th 2022, at approximately 12:48 AM, this was an officer involved car accident. That wasn't the most concerning part about this interaction. A captain left 1 of his firearms which seemed to be a possible throw away because he had his service firearm on his hip. Also One this captain and a canine deputy went on to private property property they broke the no trespassing sign wow going through the fence. If officer safety was one of their biggest worries why would they leave an unsecured firearm on the front seat of a vehicle that was running with the windows down??
