On Today, April 4, 2022, In Mariupol, it was reported that 267 marines of the Ukrainian Navy surrendered - This is the second large-scale surrender since the days of Zmeinyi Island
The Ukrainian Personel from the 503rd Separate Marine Battalion laid down their arms en masse and surrendered.
It was reported that earlier their commander suffered mortal wounds during the clashes and passed away, and the deputy chief of staff of the battalion was arrested by Russian Ground Forces units after he tried to escape a few weeks ago.
