MISSION STATEMENT

Normally you and I agree on most everything. However, this is not one of those things. Do you know what "witchcraft" really is? People were labeled "witches" because they were healers...aka...medicine people...people we call doctors today. They were labeled as evil because they healed people for free! Because they just wanted to help. When Christianity was introduced, it was literally a concept created by those who wanted to be rich and powerful. Paganism is the oldest religion in the entire world. It was what most people, no matter where they lived, practiced. There were many versions of it depending on where you were in the world. But NEVER was it considered evil until Christianity was introduced....roughly 6000 or more years later. At this time, the healers/ medicine people were labeled as "witches", and were captured and used to instill fear into people. Why? Because the powers that be saw a way to make money by charging people for medical help...mostly by stealing their land, livestock, and money. Christian armies literally went town to town and village to village forcing people to renounce their beliefs and accept Christianity as their religion. Those who refused, were beaten, tortured, raped, murdered, etc ... most people were so frightened, that they conceded. So over many, many years, those who held on to their beliefs, did so secretly. If they were found out, they were called witches and we all know what happened to them, hence the Salem Witch trials. It is absolutely sickening that people still believe these horrible things to this day. I agree that there are some who have taken advantage of this concept and used it for evil purposes. But true Pagans are nature worshipping people. They love all things nature. They are not evil. They don't not harm animals or children. In fact....they are healers and protectors of all animals and children. I have spent my whole life studying religions, and quite honestly, this is the most honest, most wholesome of them all. So please educate yourself, and not through Google either, before you make posts like this. This is horrible misinformation and all it does is create ongoing unnecessary hate and fear. And just to clarify...spells...are nothing more that wishes...prayers. Do you make a wish before blowing out a candle? That's a spell. Do you say prayers?? Those are spells!!!
