Just showing the standard procedure for removing a charging port that is soldered on the board- these are less common in phones nowadays but still very common on consoles, computers, laptops, tablets and lots of other devices. The concept is the same for most port types, be careful if the port has a lot of plastic on it or near it as too much heat will melt plastic parts. Practice is the key!
