A very scary encounter with as aggressive copperhead snake

While going for a short walk in the woods DeeOhGee caught a scent of something. I didn’t see a snake when I looked where DeeOhGee was sniffing. Then I stepped backwards and almost stepped right on this aggressive little poisonous copperhead snake. DeeOhGee has had a snake bite shot to lessen the severity of a reaction if he was ever to get bitten by a poisonous snake but I still didn’t want him or I bitten. I was able to sling it off with my cane and he slivered off the bank. I decided it was time to move on down the trail.
