What I actually did . Put on Ultra low latency mode and set FPS to 120 Max and still used V-sync to enable G-sync in the Nvidia control panel. Works good now and the game still looks awesome after 7 years.

Now with Windows 10/11 Update all non HDR games can have HDR turned on if you have the updated windows 10 and HDR monitor.
