Hawaii Pension Reform: Finding Solutions for Fiscal Solvency
2 years ago
Hawaii’s tax and public pension systems were put under the microscope at a series of free panel discussions hosted by Hawaii Rep. Andria Tupola, on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at two separate Honolulu locations.
Our own Keli’i Akina, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, moderated the third discussion, “Pension Reform: Finding Solutions for Fiscal Solvency,” back at the Hawaii State Capitol Auditorium.
Others participating in the discussions were Pete Constant of the Reason Foundation, Robert Zahradnik of The Pew Charitable Trusts, and Scott Drenkard of the Tax Foundation.
