The Farmer Veteran Coalition with Mark Bowen

Y'all have heard about Meadowdale Farm from Young Katie quite a little bit, but today you get to hear from the man who started the whole shebang! Mark Bowen is the guy behind the scenes up in Vermont, and is just as interesting as his wife! He's an Army vet turned farmer/logger/timber framer/sawmill operator/jack-of-all-trades, who also heads up the Vermont chapter of the Farmer Veteran Coalition. As a man who has served this country and returned to start a small business, he has a vested interest in helping fellow vets find meaning in their lives as they transition back to civilian life. We chatted about the work this organization does, as well as the humble beginnings of Meadowdale Farm. Great guy and an awesome conversation!
