In this episode of Know Your Stuff, we interview Susan Joy Hassol, Director of Climate Communication. We talk about the main findings of the newly released U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report. We talk about how worried we should be as we discuss what these findings mean for the planet and for us as humans. We also discuss whether the extreme weather events this summer happened because of global warming. Finally, we talk about how we can stay optimistic.
