HELL YEA OR MEH
HELL YEAH OR MEH
A phrase that really has resonated with my clients especially in social situations, going out to eat, while traveling
Remember
All foods can absolutely fit
BUT there does need to be some kind of balance
Every meal can’t be a special occasion
Every weekend can’t be a bender
One of my amazing clients recently spent the weekend going into the city with her friends
She did NOT track at all over the weekend
Instead relied on making balanced choices
She planned ahead
She looked at the menu of the place her friend picked for them to eat at
She knew there was a cookie place she wanted to hit (because that’s her hell yeah) so she worked that into her plan!
She prioritized being active, they got plenty of steps
She stuck to lighter meals leading up to the more indulgent meal
She has consistently been making tremendous progress
HELL YEAH or MEH gives a moment for pause
To check in with ourselves
(Power of the Pause is definitely part of all that is BIG P ENERGY)
This process isn’t about being perfect
Special occasions where we loosen up the reigns a little bit can 100% be factored in
If we are consistent >80-90% of the time
This gives us ~40-75 days per year which we can account for these more special occasions, parties, celebrations, holiday’s (generally, we know when these times are approaching)
As Jordan Syatt says “being 100% consistent with your nutrition isn’t perfect, it’s prison”
Making progress isn’t about being perfect
It’s about being CONSISTENT overall
Having some kind of plan & structure is really helpful
It can actually help us WORRY LESS & feel more CONFIDENT in any situation
Would love to know what your hell yeah is 🥰
