Welcome to my new series entitled "Commission Chat"! This will be a combination of live streams and recorded videos. First, I want to start providing the items coming up at the commission meetings and a recap after the Open Meetings. I will also try to do live updates in the future where we get other people in to discuss what is happening and give you all an opportunity to chat with them in real-time! In this first video, I also review some of the AZCC website and how to navigate to get the agendas and videos, both live and archived, for yourself. Feedback is always appreciated! We discuss the NERC report released 11/17/22 about the looming grid strain on North America this winter.

This has been a big issue lately. The Rio Verde Foothills area up north of Scottsdale is very likely not going to have their normal source of water starting January 1, 2023. What they are going to do in 2 1/2 months is up in the air at this point. In this video I discuss both sides of this issue a bit to help people better understand why this is a complicated topic.

My job is pretty coo! I have had the opportunity to do some neat things this week and I just couldn't wait to share with you!

As we have consistently stated, Kevin and I are not taking a stance on retail competition, but feel this matter is of statewide concern and therefore should be handled in the legislature. The legislature took up this discussion and ultimately voted to repeal Arizona Revised Statute Title-40. We congratulate Rep. Griffin on getting her bill passed and look forward to working with all of the stakeholders to discuss this in the future. Please help us get across the finish line for $5 donations!
