Escambia county Florida firefighters battle a building in flames as the wildfires all over the panhandle still cause risk during the red flag warning issued for the northwest region of the gulf Coast panhandle of Florida. The 5 mile swamp still burns just across Escambia Bay from this structure fire, adding another fire tapping resources for the emergency crews. Cause is unknown at this time and no injuries or fatalities have been reported. All children from the school next door have been reported safe.

In order to contain the fires in Northwest Florida, the forest service has sent strike teams to establish borders to the blaze.
