Have you tried solo hiking in Switzerland? High up in one of the stunning alpine mountains in Switzerland is the car-free village Stoos. To get up here is already an adventure - you have to ride the world's steepest funicular railway! The funicular railway is easily reached by public transportation from Zurich, about 1.5hrs away. From Stoos, I did the ridge trail from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock for about 4km. The hike was breathtaking, with some small challenges, but nonetheless accessible by the average hiker - as long as you're careful and sure-footed! Driving in the Netherlands is a new and exciting challenge for me. After (finally) getting my driving license - in manual, I decided to rent a car and go on my first ever road trip here. How did it go? Well, my manual driving skills are still pretty rusty, but this driving challenge pushed me out of my comfort zone. I'm definitely more confident now to be on the road in the Netherlands! In this vlog, I drove from Amsterdam to Rotterdam. A fairly good driving challenge for a first-timer! What I like about Mount Romelo is that it's everybody's playground - there are cottages if you want to stay overnight but don't have a tent, and there are campsites - some near the river, and some by the forest so you can choose whichever suits you.
