Meet Rocky. A young man with a fear of guns. When Rocky approached me about breaking the fear of guns, I was surprised and asked him if he really wanted to do this on YouTube and social media. He told me it took him two weeks to muster up the courage to tell me he wanted to shoot a gun for the first time, overcome the fear of guns, and to do it on our channel. For Rocky, breaking the fear of guns is very, very real. Rocky is from a younger generation that wasn't taught much about firearms. His exposure to guns has been what he's seen in the news and observing policemen carry them for duty purposes. Rocky wants to know how to get over the fear of shooting a gun. "Scary" Rocky said, "I've been afraid of guns for a long time. I've actually managed to avoid them all of my life". Today we're going to try and break Rocky's fear of guns. We're going to try and show him there is a positive place in the world for firearms and hopefully change his perspective on guns in general. This is a beautiful model 64 Smith and Wesson K-frame gun and was built a long, long time ago in 1970. This particular model here today has a super tight action and a super crisp trigger. All the way around just a gorgeous piece it's still in pristine shape. I'm super excited to take a look at her today. The model 64 is based on the model 10 but in stainless steel and production began in 1970 with a four inch tapered and pinned barrel such as what you see here on this copy. Different variants were later produced including a heavy barreled version that came out about 1973. The model 64 can safely handle + P ammunition. It was the first stainless revolver approved for the NYPD and the last service revolver for departments around the country until the 1990s when semi-automatics became popular. What a shooter! What a classic in American history! You see this gun is representative of an era of America that is long gone, by. Friends, this S&W model 64 is a true classic in time an absolute beautiful gun, this particular one this copy has a super super tight action to it and this would be a very, very desirable piece to any collector out there especially those that love their Smith & Wessons. This firearm points as if it were an extension of your own arm with it's 6 inch barrel extended beyond your hands.
