RMIT FactLab Exposed & Suspended
RMIT Factlab and their cash-for-fact-checking operation in Australia have been rightfully exposed and suspended, thanks to investigative journalism and public scrutiny. Fortunately, during their suspension, RMIT cannot censor and suppress much-needed rigorous debate on the Voice to Parliament issue with their often one-sided "fact-checks."
Despite META claiming to have strict and transparent policies regulating their "fact-checking" partners, they have failed to provide proper oversight and public accountability until pressured by media exposure, the public, and Senators in the Australian Parliament.
There is now even more reason not to trust META or any of their so-called "fact-check" partners. Spread the word.

How long is the "Uluru Statement From The Heart"?
A major debate is taking place about the length of the Uluru Statement from the Heart. The Prime Minister has claimed anyone that believes its longer than one page is a conspiracy theorist, and architects of the statement are now back-tracking on statements they made previously about it's length and contents. Who should the public believe?

Melbourne In The Grip Of A Crime Wave
Just a small snapshot of the past few months in Melbourne, Victoria: a city in the grip of a crime wave that is terrorising ordinary Victorians trying to get on with life during a cost of living crisis.
The government, opposition, and police are nowhere to be found, hoping the community doesn't notice they have lost complete control of the situation.
This is the real deal – real criminals and gang-linked hoodlums running rampant with no end in sight.
Daniel Andrews and Shane Patton fronted cameras to crack down on ordinary Victorians with extreme measures, to stop them from exercising their democratic rights over the past few years - but today they are missing in action.

Victoria Bans Gas & UN Declares Era of Global Boiling has arrived.
Victoria has banned gas connections in all new homes and government/public buildings starting in Jan 2024, with a move to transition the state into an all-electric future to reduce emissions.
The announcement comes on the heels of the UN declaring that the world is now in a phase of man-made "Global Boiling," and without even harsher measures against climate change, the future is catastrophic.
The Victorian government is positioning this ban as a way to ease pressure on the cost of living and help Victorians with increasing gas bills. They are also encouraging Victorians to install more solar panels to further reduce costs.
However, with skyrocketing electricity costs already, and infrastructure that seems lacking, there are concerns about whether this ban will achieve the intended outcome.
These types of bans are only the beginning if you ask me.

Albanese Government is terrified of independent media
The Australian government's proposed "misinformation/disinformation" bill targets everyday Australians, while exempting Anthony Albanese, his government, the mainstream media, and institutions like universities. All of these exempted entities have a well-documented history of spreading government-tied misinformation and disinformation.
The main target of the bill is independent/alternative and citizen media & journalists. Its intention is to punish anyone who dares to question the prevailing narrative of the day. The bill instructs "Big Tech" to exercise even more censorship than they already do, further eroding the limited protections provided by Australian laws.
There is still time to submit your feedback to the government and sign the many petitions opposing this attack on our fundamental rights.

Australian "Fact-Checkers" Are Not Certified?
Two of Australia's biggest "fact-checkers" @rmit_factlab and @ABCFactCheck are not in compliance with @Meta's policies on certification with the International Fact Checking Network (IFCN), even though both organisations are listed as official META partners and proudly display the IFCN certification on it's websites.
One certification expired in Sep 22, and the other in Dec 22.
META however have announced that RMIT FactLab will be leading the charge on fact-checking the Voice to Parliament content on it's platforms, despite the organisation not meeting it's own strict standards.
What's going on?

META pays Australian "independent" "fact-checkers" $40,000 per month
An agreement between META (Facebook) and RMIT University, obtained via a case information request, reveals that fact-checkers in Australia are paid $800 (USD) per "Fact-Check." This payment structure is based on a strict monthly quota of 50 "Fact-Checks," totalling $40,000 (USD) per month and allowing for a maximum earning capacity of $480,000 (USD) per year. Does this payment model imply that fact-checking is a profit-driven business with incentives to meet quotas?
