Smart Parrot Does Trick That Makes The Crowd Go Wild
When it comes to teaching a bird some tricks, the first thing that comes to mind are words. They are not ticks per se, but when people come over and they are greeted with “Hello” and “wanna snack?” by a colorful little birdy, it is a great conversation starter, not to mention an awesome way to entertain.
But if this gorgeous parrot is any indication, you can also teach these exotic birds to do all sorts of tricks! These two humans have started with the simplest of tricks, the “<a href="https://rumble.com/v2zma5-slowest-roll-over-by-giant-dog.html" target="_blank">roll over</a>”. The woman is indicating her bird Shadow that he should roll around on his back with a stick, twirling it in circles.
At first the birdy looks completely taken aback by the twirling object, but after hearing the command, he lays on his side and turns around, a full and complete roll over! The humans were ecstatic with his successful completion of the trick, offering his a treat the minute he gets up on his feet. Good boy!
In fact, there are several <a href="https://rumble.com/v33nxl-you-can-teach-a-small-bird-new-tricks.html" target="_blank">tricks</a> you can train your parakeet to do that are fairly easy. You can teach the bird to “step up”, which is the most valuable and fundamental command that all birds should know. You can teach it to wave “hello”, which is super quick and easy. If you want to, you can potty train your bird, however impossible that may sound and of course, you can teach it to talk.
Just be sure to have plenty of treats laying around and a lot of positive words for your hardworking parrot!

Cheeky Parrot Refuses To Stop Playing With The Humidifier
They can be such amusing pets to have in your home. Some parrots seem to have the incredible ability to recognize speech patterns and repeat words and phrases they most often hear.
But when it comes to discovering new and exciting stuff around the house, there is no stopping them! This little guy discovered the benefits of the humidifier in his owner’s home and he just won’t. Let. Go!
The black-legged <a href="https://rumble.com/v3j3yr-parrot-supervises-owners-workout.html” target="_blank">parrot</a> sits perched on top of the mist machine and inspects the slot where the mist comes out. His owner tries to remove him from there, since it is not a good idea to breathe the mist directly, but the parrot wants to hear none of it! Every time the woman reaches out to grab him, he screeches and turns to bite her with his orange beak!
The woman tries several times to remove the <a href="https://rumble.com/v41rld-not-today-human.html” target="_blank">stubborn</a> bird from the humidifier with no success. Maybe he thinks he is in the Amazon, his natural habitat? No one can know. Drastic measures had to be taken at one point, so the human turns the machine off and the bird gives in.
Pionites xanthomerius, or black-legged parrot is abundant in parts of eastern Peru, and is present in Manu National Park. It also occurs in northern Bolivia, although it may have been extirpated from Santa Cruz as a result of habitat destruction. This taxon's range extends into western Brazil.
