UglyScale Press -- Frankenstein's Monster Reborn
So, as many of you guys have seen, I been talking about my JBOSD storage that I created when I found this Disk Rack at Microcenter, I was to say back in 2010. After watching @HardwareHaven video, I was yes, I can rebuild it. Still use the rack.
Create does go to HardwareHaven, this is just how I rebuilt my JBOD, one issue with you have a bunch of disk, now all of them are good. TrueNAS Scale Smartd is reporting errors with the drives, in fact two of them. I have six, but out of the six, was was dead.
The new an improved Monster, works. I am going to replace the SAS cable for a 6 Meter one so I can move the rack off the floor.
Fair waiting, my wiring my set off your OCD or PSDT, you have been warned.

UglyScalePress -- OrangePi's eMMC 256GB.
A pet peev of mine is that with most SBC there are no standards, as of lately it looks like with eMMC we are kinda getting that with eMMC modules.
What is eMMC = enabled MultiMediaCard
Back in June, there was talk of OrangePi offering eMMC's. When I found them on Aliexpress I got excited because the price and the size of the modules. This was the first time for me to see 256GB and for less than $20 USD. Ok, do I risk it. Yes, I ordered 4 of them.
When I get them, it was time to try them on Radxa Rock 5A and Indiedroid Nova. Later I will try it with Odroid board.
So this video I install TwisterOS on the 256 GB eMMC for the Indiedroid Nova. I then try to use this pibench script from James Chamber

UglyScale Press -- Learning Linux -- Tools to Connect -- Mobaxterm
I am starting my learning Linux Series. I will not be focus on Ubuntu. I will be focus on Enterprise Linux software to help those who want to get a job in IT. So my series will be focus on Red Hat and SUSE.
Disclosure, I am not paid by Mobtex. The opinion state are my, and my alone.
Part 1 - Tools to connect Linux
A. Mobaxterm
So the first few videos will focus on software needed to to use for learning Linux. Mobaxterm is one of those that gives you a SSH tool that far better than Putty.
https://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/
I joke that Mobaxterm would be the baby if Putty and Cygwin had a child. It's the closing thing on a Window OS with out installing Windows Linux Subsystem.
In this video I should how to install app, add plugins, and go over some of the features that Mobaxterm offers.
If you have questions please leave a comment. I will be posting more Small Board Computer Videos along with the Learning Linux. If you like to see another Shell/Terminal programs, please let me know.
Other Shell Programs:
1) Power Shell ( Windows )
2) Terminal ( Mac OS )
3) Putty ( https://www.putty.org/ )
4) Secure CTR ( https://www.vandyke.com/products/securecrt/ )
5) Windows Linux Subsystem ( https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/about )
