The Vanity of Earthly Pursuits: A Reflection from Ecclesiastes 2
The profound truths of "The Vanity of Earthly Pursuits," a chapter that delves into the timeless wisdom of Ecclesiastes 2. This compelling film contrasts the fleeting nature of material wealth with the enduring joy of divine blessings, as illustrated through the contrasting experiences of King Solomon and the joyful children of Yah. The journey through Solomon’s opulence to the simplicity and joy of those who trust in Yah brings to mind "HalleluYah," a joyful praise to the Creator who grants true happiness beyond material possessions.
Witness how Solomon’s vast wealth and indulgences bring him no lasting fulfillment, leading to his profound realization that everything under the sun is vanity—except for the joy found in living under God’s grace. As the film transitions from Solomon's reflective solitude to the vibrant celebration of Yah’s children, we are reminded that true contentment and peace are gifts from above, eliciting from us a heartfelt "HalleluYah."
Join us in this visual and spiritual exploration of Ecclesiastes 2, reflecting on what truly enriches our lives and prompts our souls to sing 'HalleluYah' in the presence of divine truth.
* Psalm 23:5 - "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies." This verse vividly captures the theme of divine provision and protection, mirroring the joyous banquet scene of Yah’s children in the video.

Love and Discipline: Pathways to Redemption
Explore the profound journey of redemption with our new song, ‘Love and Discipline: Pathways to Redemption.' This piece delves into the complex relationship between divine forgiveness and the earthly consequences of our actions. While we are assured of forgiveness through Yahusha's sacrifice, Scripture teaches us that true repentance involves not only seeking forgiveness but also embracing the divine discipline that shapes us into better followers of YAHUAH.
Verse Themes and Scriptural Foundations:
* Forgiveness Through Yahusha: The song opens with the foundational belief that we are forgiven through the sacrifice of Yahusha, as stated in Ephesians 1:7, 'In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.'
* Divine Discipline: It reflects on the biblical truth that YAHUAH disciplines those He loves, as highlighted in Hebrews 12:6, 'For YAHUAH disciplines the one He loves, and chastises every son whom He receives.'
* Actions That Cover Sins: The song encourages listeners to engage in acts of love and kindness, drawing from 1 Peter 4:8, 'Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.'
This song is more than a musical expression; it's an invitation to reflect on the dual path of embracing YA’HUAH’s grace and responding to His loving discipline. By engaging in deeds that reflect His love, we not only alleviate the burden of our past sins but also contribute to the growth of His kingdom. Join us on this redemptive journey to discover how grace and responsibility intertwine to guide us towards a life of deeper faith and fulfillment.

Ecclesiastes 1: Finding Freedom Beyond the Rat Race
In the first chapter of Ecclesiastes, we are confronted with the profound words of Qoheleth, challenging us to ponder the futility of human striving and the cyclical nature of existence. But amidst the wearisome repetition of life, there lies a message of liberation for those who dare to step away from the rat race and chart their own course.
Just as Jonathan Livingston Seagull soared above the limitations imposed by his flock, choosing to pursue his passion for flight rather than conform to the norms of seagull society, so too can individuals find freedom beyond the confines of societal expectations.
In a world obsessed with material wealth, status, and achievement, it can be difficult to prioritize inner fulfillment, simplicity, and a deeper understanding of life's mysteries. Yet, those who dare to follow their own path often discover a sense of purpose and authenticity that transcends the superficial markers of success.
Embracing a simpler, more contemplative lifestyle allows one to cultivate a deeper connection with oneself, others, and the world around them. It offers the opportunity to explore the depths of wisdom and insight, unencumbered by the distractions and pressures of the rat race.
While others may view you as odd or unconventional, your willingness to challenge the status quo and seek a more meaningful existence is a testament to your courage and authenticity. Just as Jonathan Livingston Seagull inspired others to pursue their own dreams, perhaps your example will encourage others to question the conventional wisdom and explore alternative paths to fulfillment and contentment.
ECCLESIASTES The words of Qoheleth, son ofDaud, king in Yerushalim.“Futility! Futility!” says Qoheleth.“Futility, futility, all is futile!”What does man gain from all his laborin which he toils under the sun?A generation passes away, and a generation comes, but the arets stands forever.The sun also rises, and the sun sets, andhurries back to the place where it arose.Going to the south, and turning roundto the north, turning, turning, and on itsrounds the wind returns.All the rivers run into the sea, yet thesea never overflows. To the place fromwhich the rivers come, there they returnagain.All matters are wearisome, no one isable to speak of it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.What has been is what shall be, whathas been done is what shall be done, andthere is no new matter under the sun.Is there a matter of which it is said,“See, this is new”? It was here already,long ago.There is no remembrance of formerones, nor is there any remembrance ofthose that are to come by those who come later on.I, Qoheleth, was king over Yisharal in Yerushalim.And I set my heart to seek and searchout by wisdom concerning all that has been done under the shamayim; this evil task Alahim has given to the sons of man, to be humbled by it.I have seen all the works that are doneunder the sun. And see, all was futile andfeeding on wind.The crooked could not be straightened,and what is lacking could not be counted.So I spoke to my heart, saying, “See, Ihave attained greatness, and have gained more wisdom than all who were before me in Yerushalim. And my heart has seen much wisdom and knowledge.”And I set my heart to know wisdom –and to know madness and folly. I knowthat this too is feeding on wind.For in much wisdom is much grief, andhe who increases knowledge increasessuffering.

Psalm 36: Between Shadows and Light
This Psalm explores the stark differences between the wickedness of man and the divine mercy of Yahuah. As transgression whispers to the lawless, the fear of YAHUAH remains absent from their eyes, setting a scene where self-deception and evil plots abound. But against this dark backdrop, the boundless kindness of Yahuah shines forth, extending from the heavens to the clouds, illustrating His perfect justice and deep, unfathomable judgments.
Yahuah’s love and faithfulness provide a sanctuary for all who seek refuge under His wings.
PSALMS 36
Transgression speaks to the lawless within his heart;
Fear of Alahim is not before his eyes.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes,
To find his lawlessness to be hated.
The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit;
He has ceased to be wise, to do good.
He plots wickedness on his bed;
He sets himself in a way that is not good;
He does not despise evil.
Yahuah, Your kindness is in the heavens,
And Your integrity reaches to the clouds.
Your obedience is like the mighty mountains;
Your directives are a great deep;
Yahuah, You save man and beast.
How precious is Your kindness, Alahim!
And the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
They are filled from the fatness of Your house,
And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.
For with You is the fountain of life;
In Your light we see light.
Draw out Your kindness to those who know You,
And Your obedience to the upright in heart.
Let not the foot of pride come against me,
And the hand of the lawless drive me away.
There the workers of wickedness have fallen;
They have been overthrown And have been unable to rise.

The Invitation of Wisdom and Folly Proverbs 9
In this chapter, two contrasting figures are presented: Wisdom and Folly, personified as women inviting people to follow their paths.
Wisdom is depicted as a noble woman who has built her house and prepared a feast, inviting the simple and those lacking understanding to partake of her provisions and gain knowledge and discernment. She calls out from the highest places, offering guidance and promising long life to those who heed her words. The fear of Yahuah is emphasized as the beginning of wisdom and the key to understanding.
On the other hand, Folly is portrayed as a loud, simple, and ignorant woman who also calls out to the simple and naive, luring them with promises of stolen pleasures and secret delights. However, her guests are warned to be in the depths of the grave, implying that following her path leads to destruction.
The chapter presents a stark contrast between the paths of Wisdom and Folly, urging the reader to choose the way of understanding and reject the allure of foolishness and its consequences.

This chapter unfolds Ruth's courageous act at the threshing floor, a pivotal moment that blends vulnerability with virtuous intent. As Ruth seeks Boaz’s protection and redemption, we witness a beautiful unfolding of Yahuah's providential care and the cultural customs of redemption.
We are deeply grateful to Tracey from England for her beautiful narration of Ruth's story, bringing these ancient words to life with heartfelt sincerity. If Tracey's dedication inspires you and you wish to lend your voice to this sacred endeavor, we warmly invite you to join us. We aim to bring the entire scriptures online, using the ancient names found in the Hebrew Masoretic Text and the Greek Received Text. Whether you speak English, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, or any other language, your contribution can help “go into all the world” these timeless texts for all to breathe in. * Alimelech ("My God is king"): Naomi's husband, whose name reflects a declaration of faith in Yahuah’s sovereignty. The name sets the tone for the family's journey, which, although marked by initial tragedy, is ultimately enveloped in the broader theme of divine kingship and providence.
* Mahlon (possibly "sickness" or "weakness"): One of Naomi’s sons, who married Ruth. His name might reflect the frailty and human suffering that are part of the story but are transformed through God's redemptive plan.
* Kilyon (possibly "pining," "destruction," or "completion"): Naomi’s other son, who married Orpah. His name might signify the decay or end of Naomi’s hopes through the death of her sons, setting the stage for the eventual restoration and new beginnings that follow.
* Orpah ("neck" or "stubbornness"): Naomi's other daughter-in-law, who initially decides to return to Naomi’s homeland with her but ultimately chooses to go back to her own people. Her name might reflect her turning back, as in turning the neck away, from the opportunity to join Naomi and Ruth in Bethlehem.
* Boaz ("swiftness" or "strength"): As previously mentioned, he is the kinsman redeemer whose actions are decisive and whose character embodies strength, a pivotal figure in the narrative of redemption and genealogical continuation.
* Ruth ("companion" or "vision of beauty"): The Moabite widow whose loyalty and devotion not only provide a model of faithful love but also bridge the gap between Moab and Israel, foreshadowing the inclusiveness of God’s salvation.
* Obed ("servant" or "worshipper"): The son of Ruth and Boaz, whose name reflects service and worship, indicative of his role in continuing the worship of Yahuah through his lineage.

Divine Dynamics: Understanding Our Role in Yahuah's Plan. JUDGES 6 Part 1
Ever felt like every choice you make just lands you in more trouble? In Judges Chapter 6, we see how the Yisharalites faced severe consequences because they listened to all the wrong advice and took some dangerous shortcuts suggested by those smooth talkers who were really not on their side. It’s like taking a wrong turn because it looks quicker and finding out it’s a dead end.
This chapter dives into why things kept getting worse for the Yisharalites and how they found their way out of the mess. It wasn’t until they hit rock bottom and realized they needed to seriously change their ways that things started to look up. They had to stop, admit they messed up, and truly humble themselves before Yahuah, the Creator.
We're talking about real change here, not just lip service. It's about turning back, cleaning up your act, and following the rules set out for us. This story isn't just ancient history—it's a practical lesson on how to get back on track when you’ve strayed. Showing that when you're ready to make a genuine turnaround and approach Yahuah with a humble heart, He’s ready to listen and help turn things around. It’s about getting back to basics and remembering who’s really in charge.
Fun Fact: Isaiah 1:15-17: “When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood. Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause.”

Divine Dynamics: Understanding Our Role in Yahuah's Plan. JUDGES 6 Part 2
Alright, let’s break it down real simple. One night, Yahuah comes to Gideon and tells him, "Hey, go take down your dad’s altar to Bel, and while you’re at it, chop down the Asherah pole next to it. Then, build me a proper altar right on this spot using the junk you just tore down, and offer a bull on it." Gideon, knowing full well his folks and the town folks wouldn’t take kindly to this, decides to do it under the cover of darkness.
Come morning, the town wakes up and everything’s turned upside down. Bel’s altar is rubble, the Asherah pole’s gone, and there’s Gideon’s new altar with a bull smoking on it. Naturally, everyone's asking, "Who did this?" And when they find out it was Gideon, they’re ready to kill him. They go to his dad, Yuash, and they’re like, "Hand him over, he’s got to pay for this."
But Yuash, surprisingly, steps up and throws it right back at them. He says, "Are you seriously going to fight Bel’s battles for him? If Bel’s really a god, let him defend himself. Whoever fights for him should be dead by morning!" From that day on, they start calling Gideon ‘YerubBel’, which means 'Let Bel contend against him', because he tore down that altar.
Then things ramp up. The Midianites and Amalekites, along with some other eastern folks, team up and camp out in the Valley of Jezreel, ready for a showdown. But the Spirit of Yahuah hits Gideon, he blows a ram’s horn, and his clan, the Abiezrites, rally to him. Gideon sends a shout-out across the land—Menasheh, Asher, Zebulun, and Naphtali—all answering the call.
Now, Gideon’s still not 100% sure he’s the guy for the job, so he asks for a sign. He puts a fleece of wool on the threshing floor and says, "Yahuah, if you’re really going to save Israel through me, make this fleece wet with dew tomorrow while the ground stays dry." Next morning, sure enough, the fleece is soaking wet, and the ground’s bone dry. But Gideon, wanting to be absolutely sure, asks for one more sign. This time he wants the fleece dry and the ground wet. Yahuah does it, no questions asked.
So there you have it. Gideon, a nobody from nowhere, called to knock down idols and rally a nation with nothing but faith and a few signs to go on. Shows you don’t need to be big and famous to make waves; sometimes, you just need to be willing to listen and take a leap when it counts.

Judges 4 Divine Heroines: How Deborah and Yael Shaped Yisharal
After the death of Moses around 1406 BC, and following the leadership of Joshua and several judges, Israel found itself under the leadership of Deborah approximately 246 years later, around 1200 BC. Deborah, a prophetess and the only female judge mentioned in the Bible, led Israel at a time of great peril. She held court under the Palm of Deborah and delivered Yahuah's commands and judgments to the people of Israel.
In a society where leadership was predominantly male, Deborah's role as a leader and prophetess was highly significant. Her leadership extended beyond civil governance; she was also a military leader who played a crucial role in the battle against the Canaanites. When Barak, the military commander, was called by Yahuah to lead the troops against Sisera, the commander of King Jabin's army, he hesitated. Barak insisted that Deborah go with him to the battle, saying, “If you go with me, I will go; but if you don’t go with me, I won’t go.”
Deborah agreed to accompany Barak but prophesied that the honor of victory would not go to him; instead, Yahuah would deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman. This prophecy was fulfilled when Jael, another remarkable woman, killed Sisera, thereby securing victory for Israel. This narrative reinforces the idea that Yahuah’s selection of leaders is based on their faith and obedience rather than their physical strength or gender.
The stories of Deborah and Yael highlight that Yahuah’s empowerment can manifest through anyone who is willing to serve His purpose faithfully. These narratives teach us that true strength comes from knowing Yahuah and committing to His will, illustrating that both men and women are equally capable of fulfilling divine mandates and achieving great deeds under Yahuah’s guidance.

Judges 3 Did Lucas Draw Inspiration from Eglon? Possible Origin of Jabba the Hutt!
Welcome back to our journey through the Book of Judges! First, let’s set the stage with a bit of history about this history. The Moabites and Ammonites, central figures in our story today, were the offspring of Lot and his daughters, born from an incestuous relationship. These two groups became the patriarchs of the nations of Moab and Ammon. Throughout the scriptures, prophets like Isaiah and Jeremiah have pointed out the pride, idolatry, and eventual divine punishment of these nations, setting the scene for the conflicts we’ll explore in Judges 3.
Today, we delve into a chapter packed with lessons that might seem as challenging as downing a plate of organic lima beans, but just as nutritious for our spiritual understanding. We're going to unpack the stories of Israel’s early judges—Othniel, Ehud, and Shamgar—three unlikely heroes whom Yahuah raised up to deliver His people from oppression.
Judges 3 highlights the recurring cycle of disobedience, oppression, supplication, and deliverance among the Israelites. This pattern not only demonstrates Yahuah's unwavering faithfulness in the face of Israel’s repeated failings but also sets the stage for the epic tales of Samson and Gideon that we'll explore in upcoming videos.
Join me as we lay the groundwork for understanding these powerful narratives, drawing lessons from the past that resonate with our lives today. Let’s dig in and uncover the rich, complex flavors of this historical and spiritual saga!
