Professor X is quite good but takes some practice to get the hang of. Basically, build charges up to 100. Once there, hold off on specials until you have a very heavy sp2. Either call the special or use 4 lights to trigger his power lock. You can then call specials in succession until you run out of charges. A good run would be 2 special 2's followed by 3 or 4 sp1 all in a row.

Mystic solo objective for September's special event quest tier 9, Gladiator battle. First 2 attack runs with bwcv must have 4 light attacks in a row to trigger incinerate immunity. Then, its a pretty simple special 2 rinse and repeat. I have mystic dispersion mastery active at level 4.

January thronebreaker event quest final boss fight vs Absorbing man. Void shuts him down with his debuffs and fear of the void. Absorbing Man will damage you on parries so try not to do that. I took a costly one in this fight. Basically, spam sp1 with Void and try not to parry. This is mostly an intercept and counter attack type fight rather than a parry/block then counter type. Keep baiting sp1 as the sp2 will cause a lot of problems to deal with.

Using either version of Magneto is a great counter to scorpion. His magnetism shuts down scorpion's abilities. I like to mess around and build to the sp3 with red mags and call it with a ton of prowess. Usually wipes him out. White mag's sp2 with prowess will smash him too, just takes a bit longer. Build as much prowess with heavies as you can and hit that special.

December cavalier event quest boss fight against Agent Venom. Odin paired with Magneto House of X's pre fight ability makes this fight nice and smooth. Hit a special 1 for the true strike, then hit a heavy to charge Odinforce and keep hammering special 2. As long as Odinforce is active, the true strike will refresh with sp2 activation.

Arch Angel shuts Jessica Jones down with neurotoxin. Parry, heavy, repeat and watch her health melt away.....quickly.

Attuma can be a pain to battle as he purifies the stun. However, using Magneto House of X will greatly simplify the fight. Activate his pre-fight guidance, and the stuns become passive for any metal or hero champs on your team. Mags works well for the battle, but I prefer Stryfe. With Stryfe, use mediums and heavies so as to not take reflection damage and spam the special 1.

Jabari Panther has a high critical rate when timed correctly. Each parry will build 1 huntress charge. The Hunt will trigger at 10 charges. Time your special 2 to coincidence with your 10th parry and attack run. You must call a special within 1 second of The Hunt activating to get her damage multiplier. She also has cleanse. When attacking, any debuff inflicted will be purified instantly.

Scarlet Witch is definitely worth the investment for those that are on the fence about the sigil. I play free, but made the decision to grab her, and it was well worth it. She loves buffs on the opponent for her special 3. This is the Nov 22 cav event quest with the mystic buff so her damage is huge! Check it out!

Total power control with Punisher 2099! I use him with Captain America Infinity War for the battery synergy. It allows P99's battery to start at 90% charge instead of 65% at fight start. Pretty simple to use, get your battery to overdrive,(orange), and plow ahead. Spam the special 1 to keep your battery level up for a longer duration. Overdrive reduces enemy combat power rate by 90%. Way cool!

The easiest way to beat kingpin is to use the Magneto House of X pre-fight ability. Activate this during the selection screen and then either use Mags, or use another champ that is hero or metal. Those tags will allow the pre-fight ability to apply to your champ of choice. Then, parry at will as it will not be purified and bait the special 1.

All robots have a very big advantage against Omega Red. His death spore debuffs build very slowly on robots making the fight much easier to manage. Bait his special 1 so as to avoid the sp2 death cloud. Took a few hits on this one, all my bad, but Nimrod handles it well.

Mr. Negative can be a tricky battle. His concussion with reverse controls can make things a bit dicey. Mole Man handles him well as he shrugs off the debuffs after 1 second. Just keep your block up. Build up your monster mass above 5 and let him hit your block. That will trigger frenzy for massive sp2 damage and it will be unblockable.

Mr. Negative is a great choice to counter Sym Supreme. He is immune to stagger and nullify so it takes away the burst damage given by sym for his nullify abilities. Build light energy with Mr. Negative by using parry and dex. When you gain a buff, dashing back will convert it into light energy. Try to build up 10+ for some big damage after conversion. Build up to your sp2, then convert your light energy to dark. Do this by holding for a heavy attack. When attacked, Mr. Negative will automatically evade and convert to dark energy. Now use the sp2 for huge degen damage. The more dark energy you have, the bigger the degen.

Thing can be difficult to battle as he does not always cooperate. Its pretty basic though, watch his rock stacks. When he gets to 15, bait a special out of him and dodge it. Do not hit him while he has 15 stacks as he will go unstoppable and only drop to 12. You want to get him to 0 by having him call a special. Then the cycle starts again. You may have to hit his block several times in order to get him up to a sp1, but be patient and calm and it will work out.

September cav event final boss fight. Titania poses no threat to Mole Man. Pretty simple fight. Just wait out her haymaker timer and then attack. Do not give her a special 3 though as her haymaker mode will not have a cool down period. That could be a whole lot of trouble.

Wong gets a spanking from Void. May 2022 cav event final chapter. Wong isnt a bad fight as long as you pay attention to his ticker in the right corner. When it gets to 90+, hit him with a heavy attack to disperse the charges. If you do not do this, the next time you touch him the charges will disperse on you in the form of burst damage. This node requires a special within 8 seconds of a heavy knockdown. Keep baiting his sp1 as it is very easy to dex and watch the count as it changes every second.

Void is one of if not the best science champ. His debuffs apply in a random order, so those are luck of the draw as to what he applies in what order. Patience with void is key. Let the debuffs do their job. He will shut down regeneration, power gain and critical rating. He is also incinerate immune making him great against torch and bishop. Just remember, his specials deal energy damage which is bad against some champs.

Sorcerer Supreme is a hidden gem among the mystic class in Mcoc. She can nullify, armor break and slow her opponents while granting herself regeneration, armor and fury. With her constant power gain, she is a great choice for spamming specials and nullifying buffs.

Punisher 2099 is a fantastic choice for power control. Use him with the Captain America IW synergy so he starts with his battery at 90 when awakened. Stall until he hits overdrive and then just try to stay in it with a special 1 spam. Awesome character to use.

How to use Mr. Negative. Mr. Negative is immune to nullify and stagger which is quite handy. He has light and dark energy charges. Each parry and dash back while buffed grants light energy. Build this up to around 10 while building your power close to a sp2. Then, back off and hold for a heavy attack. He will automatically evade and stun the opponent and convert all light energy into dark. Then, go for the sp2 and watch the huge degen damage.

March 2022 cav event. Nimrod smashes Apocalypse boss. Nimrod has a tremendous special 2 when you use it in blitz mode which is when the circle above him is orange. Lots of passive shock damage and a power drain on the opponent also. You can easily switch between blitz and titan modes by landing 4 light attacks.

Dormammu has a regeneration ability that activates after using his special 3. Use his heavy attack to place a charge on the opponent. Use medium attacks to build it up to 100. Opponnent specials will build it as well. Also, build dormammu's bond up to 100 so it turns from blue to green. Once green, do NOT use any more medium attacks until you activate special 3. After the sp3, a timer will appear above you. You must have a green soul bond to regen. If it is green, hit your opponent with a heavy attack to regen the damage done.

Guardian absolutely wrecks sabertooth. This is on the conflictor node in Feb 22 cav event. Guardian at max sig rate has a ton of physical and energy resistance. Build up those force fields and shoot for a 7+ ff special 2 for huge damage. Special 1 will grant temporary force fields and special 3 will grant permanent ff's.

Odin demolishes Captain America Sam Wilson in the Feb 22 cav event. Use Odin's sp1 to trigger his true strike. This bypasses Cap's auto block and the evade buff. Keep Odin force active by using heavies to hold 2 charges. This way, a sp2 will refresh any buffs active when called. Very easy battle using the All Father.
